Penguin HSC Series 316SS Centrifugal Pumps

Penguin 316 stainless steel centrifugal pumps are designed to handle a wide range of acids and alkalies as well as solvents to 250º F. For most conditions in the Series HSC pumps, the mechanical seal is cooled and lubricated by the liquid being pumped. Standard seals are supplied for suction pressures between 20 inches Hg vacuum and 85 psig, and liquid temperatures between -30º F and 211º F. Temperatures greater than 211º F, but less than 250º F, are acceptable for non-caustic, non-hydrocarbon service, but an optional seal assembly must be utilized.
